Bills QB Josh Allen’s Text to Stefon Diggs After Surprise Trade
The Buffalo Bills startled the NFL by moving Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans.
The Bills ate almost $31 million in dead money and faced a $4 million salary hit to cut ties with their top wide receiver right away. Buffalo also traded Houston a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick in order to complete the transaction. In exchange, the Bills acquired a second-round pick in 2025.
While Bills general manager Brandon Beane notified quarterback Josh Allen about the trade in advance, the franchise star talked publicly about it for the first time on Thursday, April 18.
