Story

A modern story of the pursuit of fortune in the world of West Texas oil rigs. A landman, at least one who works in the oil industry, will act as an intermediary between exploration companies and landowners. It is usually the landowner’s job to negotiate and finalize agreements with landowners with mineral rights to lease those rights to the company they represent.

Basically, they manage the land and secure the leases so they can drill for oil and gas. Like a foreman on a construction site, they build roads, workers’ living quarters (human camp), assemble digging equipment and drill the well itself, especially in remote areas. They are also part fixers, problem solvers and enablers.

Similarly, the roles of both his wife and daughter in the series seem out of place

For someone so focused on her goals, the inclusion of an emotionally unstable, one-woman circus completely defeats the purpose of the show. Her character seems to disrupt the central narrative by adding unnecessary chaos rather than supporting his journey. The portrayal does not enhance the plot, but rather makes his determination and focus difficult to take seriously.

Additionally, these characters are constantly jumping around in provocative clothing, seemingly without purpose

The wife seems emotionally unstable, while the daughter seems to lack intellectual depth, so her contribution to the plot is negligible. Meita’s portrayal seems particularly shallow as her character only offers a superficial involvement that adds no value to the story. aside from attracting views, it seems out of sync with the tone of the series.

It’s a strange and unnecessary addition that detracts from the overall quality of the narrative

Rather than enhancing the plot or character dynamics, this approach comes across as a superficial tactic to gain attention.
